The Rhone Valley

A Provençal valley

The link between the Cévennes and the Rhone Valley, the Cèze Valley was excavated in limestone deposits that offer at the Cascades du Sautadet a spectacular series of crevasses where the water forms bubbling whirlpools. Bagnols-sur-Cèze, known for its baths in ancient Roman times, despite the presence, since 1950, of the Atomic Centre of Marcoule, has lost none of its charm as a small southern French town. You can learn all about energy in all its forms when you visit the Visiatome.
