Camargue – Mediterranean

Camargue, between ponds and marshes

Between the Petit Rhône and Le Grau du Roi, La Petite Camargue stretches over 20,000 ha of land where water is everywhere. This is the home of wild horses, bulls and birds. But this wilderness harbours many treasures. Rice is grown here, and there are also renowned vineyards. The town of Aigues-Mortes stands proudly in its ramparts and the coast offers its beaches and the famous Pointe de l’Espiguette, before you explore the Seaquarium’s underwater world.
